PROMOTION

So this was the other REALLY big news that I wanted to share, but had to keep under wraps until my boss decided to announce it... just incase one of my co-workers stumbled upon my site and reads it without me knowing. Doubtful, but I know there are some readers from the DFW area out there... I use StatCounter and it tells me where you all come from (it is a really easy to use site and fun to see where you all come from).

Anyways, I am now the LP System Supervisor (LP stands for Loss Prevention) and a part of the management team. I love working here and am so proud to now be an exempt employee that is managing two other employees. It is really pretty awesome! I mean, in 2 months I will have been here 3 years. I have really come a long way and can't wait to see what is in store for me in the future.

So, I am giving myself a round of applause and a pat on the back for a job well done. Hard work really does pay off, it just sometimes takes a while.

It's Stinkin' Cute Craft Thursday #23 & Giveaway

I have to tell you... I have the sweetest friends and readers. I mean I really do consider all of you my friends. I just haven't met you yet. You are all so sweet and the fact that I had 4 people comment on my sad phone post was just pretty cool that all of you could relate and cheer me up! Unfortunately for the phone and me the LCD is starting to bleed and I will probably have to replace it this weekend or some time next week. I was kind of hoping to keep it longer than that, but oh well. To AliLilly the little ball of joy tutorial is here.

Halloween is right around the corner... I am in a Halloween mood and will be making another poof wand for Laci for Halloween... I mean chances are she won't want to carry it around, so unfortunately I will have to *big cheesy grin inserted here*...

In the spirit of the season I love these two Halloween inspired pieces.

Courtney from Between U & Me made an adorable tulle wreath... I love tulle and she does too! It is so much fun to work with!!! This looks great and I am sure that you have already gotten lots of complements on it! If you go to her site she has a tutorial on it along with a great story of her husband being like "why do you like to do this?" Because you like to share your awesome ideas with people like me.... :o)


Lindsay from Diary of a Crafty Lady shared her super cute I mean scary.... smashed witches legs. Not only does she share them she gives a tutorial too! I love the idea of your kids moving them around the house. That is just a super totally great idea!!

:o( Sad Phone....

So last night my precious iPhone had a car accident. I must have dropped it out of my purse. Hubby must have driven over it. Luckily a nice lady found my phone on the drive way called Jake and put it in the mail box for us. LCD screen has been broken and the back case has a small crack. With the screen black it doesn't look like anything is wrong. Then you press the button and can see the sadness that displays. It is still usable until I decide to drop the $200 to replace it. I am just so broken hearted about the whole thing though. I feel like it is my fault although I know it was an accident. This is the one personal thing aside from my daughter, husband, and dog that I would grab out of a burning fire if I had the chance. Sad I know that I feel such a connection to it, but happy that at least it is still usable for a little while longer while I reflect upon the situation.
