I have a team of over 14 people and am making close to $750 a month PART TIME. I have been doing this by helping women start their own businesses, hosting socials (hey why not have some fun and get some bling), doing events, and really just having a blast. Once I got a team I decided that my team name would be Team Infinity.<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 19px; font-weight: bold;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 19px; font-weight: bold;">So with that being said...</span><br />

Juliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01544451347064410813noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6325294539825251986.post-45858551279246223212013-07-22T09:22:00.000-07:002013-07-22T09:46:50.514-07:00Been busy with South Hill Designs...So much has happened in this past month. From vendor shows, socials, to learning more about branding and promoting, to new growth! I have been really busy! I just finished up doing a vinyl craft project for someone that I should have taken pictures to share with you, but alas I didn't... I decorated (3) water bottles for her kiddos for their Disney World trip. Lets just say... I underestimated by a LOT on how difficult it would be. But in the end they turned out awesome and I know the kiddos will love them. <br />
<br />
Aside from that I have been SUPER busy with <a href="http://www.southhilldesigns.com/julielawson" target="_blank">South Hill Designs</a> and making sure my site <a href="http://www.telllifesstory.com/" target="_blank">Tell Life's Story</a> is looking fresh. I am growing my team and really excited about it because not only are we open in the United States, we are also open to both Puerto Rico AND... as of last week CANADA!!! <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9342041895/" title="Canada by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="Canada" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5512/9342041895_d52860e797.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
So aside from doing lots of promoting and getting information out there, I also have gotten to put my creative juices to use and make up not only cute and adorable lockets, I also get to work on my photography skills (do you know how difficult it is to get a good picture of a locket that has glass on the front?). Even in automatic mode I would still say I am doing pretty good. Staging is 1/2 the battle and I feel like I am getting better at that as well! <br />
<br />
Here is a cute teacher design I did for back to school. My munchkin is already asking when she gets to go back!! I am so glad she loves it!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9342041839/" title="School by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="School" height="332" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5446/9342041839_d1c52e2640.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Here is one I put together for Hair Stylists, because really a good stylist is a girls best friend! Also pictured as a prop is the BaByliss Mira Curl and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! So it was perfect to stage a cute hair dresser locket!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9342041801/" title="Stylist by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="Stylist" height="338" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7381/9342041801_c13ac1a855.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
And in honor of the royal family... are they having a prince or princess? Looks like today will be the day!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9287357615/" title="Prince or Princess by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="Prince or Princess" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7348/9287357615_4946ae48eb.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
So I have been super busy, and very excited about being with South Hill Designs! It is truly a gift to get to not only sell something that I love and have a passion about, but that I also get to help others fill their dreams by introducing them to it and having them <a href="http://telllifesstory.com/join-my-team/" target="_blank">Join My Team</a>!<br />

At a minimum about an hour in the car each way. I have a lot of time to think, listen, catch up with people, etc. Well when I started working for the company I got a car that got good gas mileage, and as a perk it came with a free 9 month subscription to Sirius Radio. Well, lets just say that I had to start paying for said subscription because I fell in LOVE with a show. <br />
<br />
What show you may ask? Well it isn't just any show... it is "Wake Up with Taylor"...<br />
<br />
If you are sitting there scratching your head saying to yourself WHO? Yeah... well you need to start listening in the morning... Wake Up with Taylor is on Cosmo Radio (currently channel 108) and has been keeping me entertained for the past 5 1/2 years in my car on the drive to work. <br />
<br />
There are some moments where I yell at the radio, count how many times Taylor says like in any given period of time, or am laughing so hard at the things they are saying I can't breathe. It is rare I change to another channel, typically if they are running a replay, but even then I find myself enjoying the show from before. But during replays I always miss hearing the "7 things you need to know before you go."<br />
<br />
Ok, so I tell you all this to show my love for a couple of people that I consider friends even though we don't talk (weird I know). But I have listened to their lives every day:<br />
<br />
<strong><u>Taylor Recap... I remember when kind of thing:</u></strong><br />
<ul>
<li>When Tay was still dating Mr. Last Minute</li>
<li>Started dating Mr. Perfect (Brett)</li>
<li>Got engaged on the same bridge as Sex in the City and was complaining about her shoes... although my memory is foggy... I don't remember if he actually asked on that bridge because Tay was mad about her shoes (regardless... I remember that they were in Europe and it was awesome)</li>
<li>When they got married</li>
<li>Moved... I think they are on their 3rd appartment together now... I don't know why but I picture their entire apartment being white.. </li>
<li>Loves wine (red wine)</li>
<li>Has a love hate relationship with spin class/working out in general</li>
<li>From Boston, parents are adorable and have been married for like... oh forever... has a brother and sister</li>
<li>Went to school at Ithica</li>
</ul>
I really could go on and on.. but those are the major points for Tay.<br />
<br />
<strong><u>Kenny Recap</u></strong><br />
<ul>
<li>Kenny dating his previous gal... </li>
<li>Ugly break up, but was really classy and didn't talk about it</li>
<li>Apartment being broken into</li>
<li>Wanting to live on a farm (yo... what's up with that dude)</li>
<li>Having a cat named Steve that had to have a "procedure"</li>
<li>Swearing not to date for a year.. accomplised it!</li>
<li>Finding Miss Right (I am calling her that... because they are engaged to be married this fall)</li>
<li>Doing comedy all over the US except for Dallas it seems like... (Kenny get down here soon!)</li>
<li>Training for a movie he filmed/was in</li>
<li>Did the whole juicing thing for a while</li>
</ul>
So see.. this is just a little bit about them... I currently feel like a creepy stalker... but I know this isn't the case, they do kind of put their lives out there for others to listen to. I just happen to have listened for a REALLY long time. <br />
<br />
Anyways, back to my trip. So I love them, not in the wierd creepy stalker way, but in the... you are my best friend and you just don't know it yet kind of way. :)<br />
<br />
About a week before my trip I contacted Tay and told her that it was my 30th birthday and although I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to meet them would settle for tips on things to do in the city. Most people wouldn't respond and would just ignore you... but I got LUCKY!<br />
<br />
What did she say you ask? "<strong><u>Come in the studio!</u></strong>" EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK! What like for real? Did I read that right? Oh I totally did! Now how to make it happen. So I contacted the producer Steph and we set up a time to come in of 9:30am on Monday, the day we left. <br />
<br />
So Jake dropped us off at the LIRR and Laci and I took the hour and a half treck into the city. We got to the building and through security and I got to meet Steph (the awesome producer), and Taylor and Kenny the best morning radio hosts on the PLANET... no for real! They are the BEST!<br />
<br />
Here Steph let Laci sit in the chair and pretend to be on the radio: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098763772/" title="DSC_0452 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0452" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7363/9098763772_d9a610615a.jpg" width="332" /></a> <br />
<br />
This is actually the chair that all the famous people that come in sit at... Lucky gal! Then we took pictures with everyone...<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096530255/" title="DSC_0453 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0453" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7319/9096530255_b72611b578.jpg" width="500" /></a> <br />
Tay, Kenny, Laci and I<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098761782/" title="DSC_0457 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0457" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5526/9098761782_365d8402dd.jpg" width="332" /></a> <br />
Me and Steph <br />
<br />
Then of course we had to have a funny one: <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096529527/" title="DSC_0455 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0455" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7342/9096529527_127d6bc4be.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
And one last pic of Laci and I in front of the Sirus XM sign:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098760788/" title="DSC_0459 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0459" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7331/9098760788_aba754a7c0.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
So, believe it or not this was my personal highlight of the trip... so after only 45 minutes of enjoying thier company... Laci and I booked it back to Penn Station to catch the hour ride back to make it to our plane on time. <br />
<br />
I so wish I could have stayed longer to talk to them. I took them some skinny tumblers (forgot to take pics) with the Wake Up logo on them and their names as a gift for letting me come in. If I ever get to go back I am going to hit them up to go to lunch with me, not sure I will be so lucky, but I would try. I feel like I could talk to them for hours. <br />
<br />
Anyways, we had a fabulious trip. Just amazing and I couldn't have done it... any of it (getting there, etc)... if it weren't for someone awesome... they know who they are. <br />
<br />
So I am the big 3-0 and had the best weekend spending some awesome time with the family and seeing all of the sites. <br />
<br />
Hugs~<br />

Got into the city in about 35 minutes which was WAY faster than taking the subway and LIRR... Plus we were kind of over the thrill of the subway after Saturday's adventure/experience. <br />
<br />
So on the drive in we saw some AWESOME bridges and cool buildings... <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096361673/" title="DSC_0366 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0366" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3794/9096361673_086fc3304f.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098592492/" title="DSC_0381 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0381" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7423/9098592492_2832c13863.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096359453/" title="DSC_0382 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0382" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7456/9096359453_51e5ef1e49.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098590480/" title="DSC_0395 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0395" height="332" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2818/9098590480_042d403531.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
We parked like a block away from Time Square and were right where we wanted to be. So remember how I said we went to Toys R Us the first time... well, the Farris Wheel was down for maintenance on Friday and we told Laci we would go back. I tell you what we have a future lawyer or doctor on our hands because she doesn't let us forget anything... so back to Toys R Us we went: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096357105/" title="DSC_0397 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0397" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7344/9096357105_4bf9fb6e57.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098778974/" title="DSC_0416 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0416" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3700/9098778974_2187b7547d.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096544519/" title="DSC_0420 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0420" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7378/9096544519_e28ca71a31.jpg" width="500" /></a> <br />
<br />
Other shots inside:<br />

<br />
Then we went shopping for souviners and other items before going to the play... Lets's ignore how much we spent for the tickets... the price was OUTRAGEOUS! But it isn't like we get to go often, so why not get good seats...<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098768572/" title="DSC_0440 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0440" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5546/9098768572_125c16018a.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098767396/" title="DSC_0443 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0443" height="332" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2878/9098767396_7bc8c74580.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098766606/" title="DSC_0445 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0445" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3830/9098766606_1e3ff19b80.jpg" width="500" /></a> <br />
<br />
We decided to see Matilda because we all love the movie and book and was age appropriate for Laci. The play was AMAZING! The girl who played Matilda was PERFECT! Just PERFECT! <br />
<br />
After the play we were tired and headed back to the hotel where Laci played with Beary and her Statue of Liberty Hat... <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096532805/" title="DSC_0447 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0447" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3672/9096532805_f8b3a5a3fb.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096531547/" title="DSC_0450 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0450" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5444/9096531547_fd017cab3c.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
It was a great end to a wonderful day! Look forward to telling you about my personal highlight to the trip tomorrow! <br />
Hugs~<br />

I turned 30... did I feel any older? Eh, not really. But you know it was still a milestone that I was celebrating. We had our list of things we wanted to get done and had gotten most of it done the day before.<br />
<br />
When I woke up I got online to see if there was anything available for a harbor tour. Well to my luck I found a lunch harbor tour! So as much as we didn't need to drop another chunk of change, it was my 30th Birthday after all. Got the tickets and BOOKED it out the door to make the train. <br />
<br />
We ended up getting to the Chelsea Piers area WAY early, and who knew there wouldn't be ANY shopping for tourists. Like NONE! Nada! Zip! Zilch... So we walked up and down the pier and saw some beautiful boats, then we went to sit down and relax while waiting for our time to board. <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091131638/" title="DSC_0122 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0122" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3761/9091131638_924567e96f.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Laci kept us entertained with some dance moves:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088915047/" title="DSC_0099 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0099" height="500" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2868/9088915047_25065afb8b.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088915211/" title="DSC_0098 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0098" height="500" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2822/9088915211_165741564f.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088913779/" title="DSC_0106 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091134692/" title="DSC_0103 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0103" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5336/9091134692_6e83e73231.jpg" width="332" /></a><img alt="DSC_0106" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7380/9088913779_5cb21ba815.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091134336/" title="DSC_0105 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0105" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5480/9091134336_c23017b511.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
(this one is my favorite!)<br />
<br />
Then we went on our lunch tour which was pretty awesome!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088910061/" title="DSC_0128 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0128" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3677/9088910061_af0495fe7d.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091130212/" title="DSC_0129 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0129" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3731/9091130212_ae52663e49.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098617416/" title="DSC_0236 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0236" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3708/9098617416_dcb6fa5eb4.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096386195/" title="DSC_0225 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0225" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7355/9096386195_37a85bbd9d.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098612170/" title="DSC_0273 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0273" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7408/9098612170_a8df1e3a34.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098607408/" title="DSC_0300 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0300" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/9098607408_c6cf960cbb.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096378209/" title="DSC_0280 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0280" height="332" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5341/9096378209_2e32aac143.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098605272/" title="DSC_0312 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098610330/" title="DSC_0284 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0284" height="332" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5506/9098610330_9daecc9b1d.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091123508/" title="DSC_0168 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0168" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3757/9091123508_7510d45790.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088904171/" title="DSC_0163 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0163" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7284/9088904171_d6712effa6.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
After finishing our harbor tour we went back uptown to the Plaza to see the Eloise Store:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098605272/" title="DSC_0312 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0312" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7352/9098605272_7837b1e93d.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098603828/" title="DSC_0320 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0320" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3743/9098603828_e44a4f1d08.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098604964/" title="DSC_0314 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0314" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3796/9098604964_4da35baefa.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098604684/" title="DSC_0315 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0315" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3752/9098604684_05a83f4a5d.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
(she was a little excited can you tell?)<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098602848/" title="DSC_0325 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0325" height="332" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2887/9098602848_7597a4f9cf.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Then we headed over to FAO Schwartz where she got Phinny the Elephant. <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098601850/" title="DSC_0330 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0330" height="500" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2843/9098601850_9d693f610c.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096367365/" title="DSC_0338 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0338" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5524/9096367365_86ed0ea728.jpg" width="332" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096366933/" title="DSC_0340 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0340" height="332" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5497/9096366933_924b24e9d6.jpg" width="500" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098597580/" title="DSC_0349 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0349" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5528/9098597580_17e0980941.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
After that we were kind of done and started back towards the subway where I saw this beautiful bridge:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9096363905/" title="DSC_0353 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0353" height="332" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5462/9096363905_5ec66f008f.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Uhm... long way up/down... eek... this is in the subway!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098596102/" title="DSC_0357 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0357" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3826/9098596102_9ae44ab7c7.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
One tired chicken!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9098596268/" title="DSC_0356 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0356" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5518/9098596268_d401c106f2.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
Then we had an hour and a half subway adventure before taking a cab back to Penn Station... don't ask it was bad... The subways were on maintenance, they weren't going the direction we needed... then got off and went to get a cab and no cab would take us... the police officer yelled at the cabs for us. Mean people! We ended up in a Starbucks where I broke down and the awesome staff told us where we could get a cab.... I need to send them a HUGE THANK YOU! I was about to start sobbing... was kind of ending a great day crummy... but they saved the day!<br />
<br />
Then got the cab and got to Penn Station. Missed one train by 10 minutes so had to wait 50 to catch the next one. Found a place to sit and played i-spy and Laci watched her iPad (don't judge... it is a life saver.. she gets bored easily).<br />
<br />
Got on the train, got back to the hotel and ordered a Pizza and relaxed while watching a movie. <br />
<br />
Was an awesome birthday aside from the Subway and Taxi's being unhelpful!<br />
<br />
Anyways, so much to share from day 4 and 5 still... <br />
<br />
Hugs~<br />

<br />
Start spreading the news <br />
I am leaving today <br />
I want to be a part of it <br />
New York, New York <br />
<br />
Ok, at the risk of sounding cheesy we were all very excited to get to spend time as a family together for an entire weekend! Although our flight going out was delayed, once we got on the plane and got going we seemed to get there pretty quick, thanks to a direct flight. <br />
<br />
Once we got in and got the rental car we all just wanted some food and to crash. We ran over to eat at Applebees and then went back to the hotel and got settled in for the night... I know pretty lame not to do anything fun the first day... but traveling really wears you out!<br />
<br />
Ok, so Friday.. our first real day there. First thing we went to visit the corporate/home office for where the hubby works (he works from home in Texas but this is their corporate office). They just moved into a new building.... as with moving in anywhere there are growing pains and changes... Who would have thought you had to have a certificate of occupancy before you could fix a roof (at least I think I caught that correctly)?!? I mean wouldn't the city want the occupants to be able to fix the roof before they move in? Anyways, they are working on it, and despite the tarps and buckets to catch the water... the building was renovated beautifully! <br />
<br />
I LOVED the color scheme... if I thought the hubby would let me paint green and grey stripes on a wall of our house (guest room maybe), I would probably try it. But lets just say, we arent' the most skilled painters, so it probably won't happen (unless my sister wants to come over and try horizontal stripes for me). They had a very bright and open feel to the place. The break room was AWESOME... just awesome... pretty sure the kiddo would have been content staying in there all day! I also finally got to meet most of the people I knew he has worked with for all these years. Everyone was really sweet and I was glad I finally got to put names with their faces!<br />
<br />
After leaving the office we went over to the LIRR train station and started our first day in the city! <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091156446/" title="DSC_0001 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0001" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5529/9091156446_01a27bb5b5.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091155906/" title="DSC_0004 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0004" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3824/9091155906_99dc159b33.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
We took the LIRR into Penn Station and then walked out of Penn Station towards Time Square. One thing that I'll never get over is how tall some of the buildings are. I mean they are just TALL!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091155214/" title="DSC_0007 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0007" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7399/9091155214_2e963a1b77.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
We were already hungry since it was around lunch time, and found Hard Rock right there in the square and ate at Hard Rock and took our picture under the sign when we finished.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088934769/" title="DSC_0010 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0010" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3827/9088934769_e7d4da7515.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
After lunch it felt like we went everywhere under the sun...<br />
<br />
The Hershey Store:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091152656/" title="DSC_0021 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0021" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7309/9091152656_f040aea45b.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
The MnM Store:<br />
Of course there was an Elvis MnM... <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088929631/" title="DSC_0032 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0032" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3760/9088929631_9da5337211.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
Then the massive walls of MnM's... and so you know... I didn't buy any chocolate or other sweet item in either one of these stores... Impressive I know!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9088929889/" title="DSC_0031 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0031" height="332" src="http://l4.yimg.com/sm/5511/9088929889_945ef16472.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9091149892/" title="DSC_0030 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0030" height="332" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3692/9091149892_f606f5ef82.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Toys R Us (the first time):<br />

I don't know... but before I left for NY... which I have <u>SO</u> many things to share about the amazing trip we had (need to get the pics off the camera)!!! But before I left I started thinking about these beautiful lockets I have seen and heard about! Here is the one I loved and created to wear for myself... I love photography and this was perfect!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9086223274/" title="Untitled by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5487/9086223274_aa8730ed33.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Well I don't know what got into me, but I am glad it wouldn't go away... I can proudly say I am now a <a href="http://www.southhilldesigns.com/julielawson/default" target="_blank">South Hill Designs Independent Artist</a> and am thrilled at the opportunity to get to share in something that is amazing as well as party with friends! In the interest of keeping things a little more separate, I have a separate website and blog for this... it is <a href="http://www.telllifesstory.com/" target="_blank">Tell Life's Story</a>. There is truly something that is perfect for everyone... <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9061589777/" title="Untitled by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="374" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3687/9061589777_ec8e79b5f4.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Everyone has their own story to tell and the wonderful thing about South Hill Designs is that we have the opportunity to help each person whether they are your children, family, or friends, yourself or a co-worker… tell their own unique story. The amazing stories about their lives from their family to work or to interests and hobbies – they can all be combined into one wonderful story. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/telllifesstory/9063819920/" title="Untitled by telllifesstory, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="480" src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2877/9063819920_0d04816027.jpg" width="318" /></a><br />
<br />
The best thing about doing this is that I get to not only use South Hill Designs to tell different stories from my life but that I get to help others “Tell Life’s Story”. These life lockets are not only beautiful but they can be personized not just once but daily with different charms to go with sporting events, casual days at the office, or even elegent evenings out on the town.<br />

I wonder who came up with it and why... Maybe because at 30 you feel like more of an adult? Maybe because we are more stable financially at 30? Maybe because you mature more at 30? I don't know... But what I do know is that, I made it.... all the way to 30 that is, ok well officially tomorrow on June 15th, but what's one day right?!<br />
<br />
Fortunately for me, the hubby's company opened up a new office and decided to bring the whole family up to NYC area for the weekend... It just happens to coincide with my 30th birthday weekend. :) No complaints here! This will be a much more fun way to spend the weekend than at cheer class for the munchkin and hanging out at home. Hoping to have a very memorable weekend!<br />
<br />
So of course I had to make a shirt to wear, because if it were up to some folks I know it would have been one of those shirts that said something like "Over the Hill" of "Dirty 30" or something else that just isn't quite my personality.<br />
<br />
Although I didn't want one of those shirts I thought this one was pretty awesome:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://picture.yatego.com/images/456d72108cbfa4.4/ja_ueber_30,40,50-kqh/geburtstag-t-shirt-ja--ich-bin-ber-30-40-50-60.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://picture.yatego.com/images/456d72108cbfa4.4/ja_ueber_30,40,50-kqh/geburtstag-t-shirt-ja--ich-bin-ber-30-40-50-60.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have no idea what it says, but I am telling myself that it says something along the lines of "Yes I am 30" "Yes I am awesome", "Yes I still look good at 30", "Yes you wish you looked this good at 30"... I don't know things like that. :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So I wanted something that was ME. I am going to go with <b><u><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue;">Nailed It</span></i></u></b>!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is what I came up with using the same <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2013/06/playing-with-bleach.html" target="_blank">bleach method</a> from the other day:</div>
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9001024462/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7305/9001024462_064bd57f6f.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Here it is up close after I added some bling... It is hard to see because I didn't add a ton, but it had to have bling... I mean... I am a self professed bling gal!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8999834511/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7353/8999834511_b704b48312.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
So if you are in NYC Saturday and happen to see me out of the million or so people I imagine walk around there on a daily basis... wish me a Happy Birthday and tell me where we should go visit and what we should be seeing...<br />
<br />
On the agenda is a possible show, Carriage Ride, Central Park, the Eloise Store in the Plaza, a Harbor Tour around Liberty Island, and of course Time Square Stores... :) Just going to wing it and live in the moment! We should have a blast and I can't wait!!! I will share when I get back sometime next week!<br />
<br />
Feel free to leave me some bloggy comment love! I <3 it="" p=""><br />

I will use it! Have some you don't want or want to have tested? I'll take the challenge... just sayin'!<br />
<br />
So for the previous team Laci was on two years ago, I made brushes for all the girls for one of the team gifts. Well now that we are at a different gym, the colors didn't quite go with her stuff, so I made Laci a new brush. But aside from just showing you the finished product... I figured I would show you a little about the process. <br />
<br />
So I created the design on the Silhouette program here:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8999852257/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="299" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7455/8999852257_eac9d74908.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
The top left stuff is purple, the stars on the right are white, and the L and the star will be cut out in red. I didn't end up using the L... it just didn't look right on the brush. I love to be efficient and cut stuff out all at once. So, that's what I did. Here is how... just put the vinyl in the same spots on the mat to cut as where they are shown on the screen... see the mat below (also my notes on the BD that I use for vinyl... hehehe)<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8999853807/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="375" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3761/8999853807_3d63e0b433.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Then weed your design and put transfer tape on it:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9001033870/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7328/9001033870_0ae3b8e716.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Then apply it to the brush and finish off with different colored ribbons if there is a spot to on the ends:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9001445354/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="375" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7322/9001445354_b5df53e17a.jpg" width="500" /></a>
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/9001446756/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7382/9001446756_b34d5cea70.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
I think it turned out pretty rockin'! So... don't you want to go out and get a brush to decorate now?!?<br />
<br />
What do you think?<br />
<br />
TTFN~<br />

Yes, you did read playing with bleach and that is exactly what I did this afternoon. I am finally "feeling it" again. I have been quite crafty lately and I am very excited about getting back in my grove! So Laci switched to a new cheer gym called Pride in Addison, TX. Not only is she re-energized and loves going... I mean LOVES going! We love going too!<br />
<br />
Aside from the <u><b>awesome staff </b></u>and environment, my most favorite thing is that they let me use the logo to make stuff. I see it as free advertisement for them. Luckily... that is how they see it too, are last gym didn't feel the same way. I have done, shirts, bows, car decals, cups, brushes... you name it and I have put something on it. I haven't approached them about selling anything, but until I decide to do anything with that, they are great about me doing stuff for personal use. That makes this crafty girl REALLY happy!<br />
<br />
So I have wanted to try the spray bleach method for a long time, but finally I had the perfect two projects to do this on... I will share the other one later this week. So I took a picture of my daughter's other shirt that I wanted the logo of and got it onto my computer. Then in silhouette I traced the image and through some other finagling I got the word parent to overlap how I wanted... so this was what I was going for:<br />

This is how it turned out (sorry about my hair in the picture... missed that until just now. It is kind of windy outside)...<br />

<br />
Me with the shirt on, no make up, so... eh, I'll take it, pretty sure I have looked worse than this.<br />

<br />
<br />
I took a couple pictures while doing it, and even tried to take a video, but as luck would have it... the record button didn't go on. BOOOO! It's ok, you would have heard two six year olds in the background asking random questions and saying... oooh it's turning! So really you didn't miss much. But it turned out great, I didn't even feel like I needed to bling it when I was done, the design turned out awesome all on it's own. So of course Laci had to have a version of it too... here is hers and included is the team name/year. I pretty much love them both!<br />

<br />
So what do you think?!? (Hint: Leave an awesome comment and I'll be super happy). Playing with bleach is pretty awesome right!<br />

In a panic I went Hobby Lobby last Monday and got all the stuff to make her tooth fairy door.... <br />
<br />
I know I am sure some of you are like... WHAT? A tooth fairy door... What is that? Or... really she doesn't miss anything. I know I know. I just can't stop, it is what I do. :)<br />
<br />
So with out further ado... here is a close up so that you can see the glitter effect:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966569/" title="IMG_4988 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4988" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8507/8472966569_73615ea8d6.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Here it is installed on her wall by the closet door:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966497/" title="IMG_4992 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4992" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8245/8472966497_fdeb15d4d9.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Here it is open, of course you don't just see the wall. You see a magical fairy forest... what kind of mom do you think I am? That would lack incredible imagination if you still saw the wall. :)<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966471/" title="IMG_4993 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4993" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8226/8472966471_5f04b0c6bd.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Here it is with her tooth fairy pillow that sits outside the door for the fairy to easily pick up. We wouldn't want to risk the fairy waking her up now would we?<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8474055612/" title="IMG_4994 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4994" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8249/8474055612_9c7b625bfa.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
And last but not least here is a shot of what the fairy left for her...<br />
<ul>
<li>She turned the glass of water by her bedside pink because it was a girl fairy that came to get her tooth (it will turn blue if it is a boy fairy)</li>
<li>She left the $5.00</li>
<li>She sprinkled pink and purple glitter around her desk</li>
<li>She left a note, her name was Sabrina Starshine and she thanked Laci for taking care of her tooth.</li>
</ul>
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8474055578/" title="IMG_4995 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4995" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8094/8474055578_6f1c112e1e.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Ok I know some of you are thinking dude... $5 but it was her first tooth... I think that is really special and important. The price will definatly not be that high next time. <br />
<br />
Anyways, what do you think about the tooth fairy's door and her first visit. <br />

I have just not had the time to do this but I figure... I kind of love this little blog o mine, so I should start showing it more love, and what better way to start than on the most loving day of the year. <br />
<br />
Here are the Valentine's Day gifts Laci gave her class:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966761/" title="IMG_4983 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4983" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8390/8472966761_2cba8dd2e1.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966729/" title="IMG_4984 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4984" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8515/8472966729_03cd508eb9.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Here are the ones she is giving to her teachers:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8474055254/" title="IMG_5020 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5020" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8376/8474055254_d99981c510.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966105/" title="IMG_5019 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5019" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8372/8472966105_dce5f4b537.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
These were all fun to put together! <br />
<br />
So from our family to yours Happy Valentine's Day!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8472966045/" title="IMG_5021 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_5021" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8108/8472966045_27724654f1.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
If you notice... she has lost a tooth on the bottom... more about that later!<br />

You know if I can rename my blog I would probably rename it something like the Crazy Party Lady, or Parties Are My Thing.... Alas I didn't really think too much of it when I started the blog, I had just started sewing, and I think everything is cute (especially if it's hot pink)! </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
But anyways, I really like theme parties... </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
For Laci's first birthday we really didn't do a whole lot, we just moved in our house and really just didn't have the time to get set up. So the theme was more just about turning one. (a little insight... our external hard drive got broken by Laci when she knocked it off at a young age, so I don't know that I have any other pictures than this from her first birthday so you get this one of her with her fingers in her mouth. I am sure I do have more, but don't know where they are.)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
For Laci's second birthday party I got my act together, we had a <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2010/12/lacis-2nd-birthday-party-curious-george.html" target="_blank">Curious George birthday party</a> that was awesome! The Man in the Yellow Hat (aka. Uncle Tim) was a perfect addition!</div>
<div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5090/5260944022_5870f3c71c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="320" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5090/5260944022_5870f3c71c.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
For Laci's third birthday party I had really gotten into the swing of things and we had a <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2010/04/lacis-3rd-birthday-party-full-recap.html" target="_blank">Mickey Mouse Club House birthday party</a> complete with Mickey and Minnie!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4063/4471513799_6294351360.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="320" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4063/4471513799_6294351360.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
For Laci's fourth birthday party we had a <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2011/05/dr-seuss-party-full-recap-lacis-5th.html" target="_blank">Dr. Seuss birthday party</a>, we had The Cat in the Hat and an amazing four tier cake!</div>
<div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5186/5680642530_a698c9a938.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="221" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5186/5680642530_a698c9a938.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
For Laci's fifth birthday party we had a <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2012/04/willy-wonka-party-full-recap-lacis-5th.html" target="_blank">Willy Wonka birthday party</a>! This party was over-the-top crazy! Tons of of candy, Willy Wonka himself, and a five tier birthday cake... it was overload and awesome!</div>
<div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7274/7038935929_563d51f531.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="212" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7274/7038935929_563d51f531.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
For the last three years I've entered into <a href="http://meandmyinsanity.com/" target="_blank">Me and My Insanity's Party Party</a>... The last two years I didn't quite make the cut, but did get props for the awesome cake last year! </div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
This years Party Party ended last night at midnight... I'm excited to see how I did and hope that since 5 is her last big birthday party, that I did well!<br />
<br />
From now on we are going to have smaller birthday parties that are centered more around the good friends that she has. Starting with an American Girl Doll party at the store this year... Well that is the current plan anyways.<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Hope I did good and will share the results later!!!</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">

<br />
Doodle has been very busy and shows no signs of stopping. He still has some other ideas up his sleave and has gotten some good ones from friends, neighbors and bloggers that for some strange reason enjoy seeing my blog that has been kind of sad lately... thanks to all of you. I might never post if there wasn't that looming guilt that someone might be interested in what I am doing. Any how.... here are the past 14 days of fun with Doodle!<br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 14 - Doodle decided to pull out a puzzle and let Laci put in the last piece... </u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287925155/" title="14 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="14" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8057/8287925155_0766dd34ac.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 15 - Doodle decided to see what Laci's bow door is all about. He even found one that matched his outfit and decided to wear it for the day.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8288984804/" title="15 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="15" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8348/8288984804_9bdda1f039.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 16 - Doodle decided to play Guess Who with Ken. Laci is REALLY good at this game!</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8288984562/" title="16 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="16" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8495/8288984562_a425cc7f4b.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 17 - Laci spent the night with Grammy and decided to wait for her by the front door and watch the clock until she got home. That morning I got a call from Laci and she was so upset wondering where he was since he wasn't at Grammy's house and worried about what he was doing. </u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287924557/" title="17 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="17" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8069/8287924557_7d775c8819.jpg" width="376" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 18 - Doodle decided to make a count up to Christmas and have Laci put a cotton ball on each day of the month. On Christmas Santa will have a full beard. </u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8288984296/" title="18 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="18" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8081/8288984296_88a296c596.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 19 - Thanks to a reader Doodle got a great idea to make Laci an ornament. He took the picture that was taken of him, Laci and Santa and put it inside an ornament. Too cute Doodle!</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287924147/" title="19 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="19" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8197/8287924147_4c94ef4d1a.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 20 - Doodle found some Toy Story stuff in the closet and was reading the book and found a coloring book that had never been used. He should have gone and grabbed at least Woody and Jessie to read with but as I recall he forgot to move and woke up at 11pm and then again at 1am remembering that he needed to do something. So he grabbed the bear by the kitchen to read with. I would say my child has too much stuff because she thought all of this was new. #itwasn'tnew</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287923907/" title="20 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="20" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8221/8287923907_144ed373e7.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 21 - Doodle decided to spy on Laci and make sure she was behaving for the day.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8288983568/" title="21 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="21" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8481/8288983568_79ba7a1e1e.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 22 - Doodle decided to have a photo booth... Uhm, totally awesome and fun! He got the idea from <a href="http://www.livinglocurto.com/2012/11/elf-photo-booth/" target="_blank">here</a>.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8288983428/" title="22 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="22" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8353/8288983428_7c0e67ae3a.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 23 - Doodle was having some fun with the Barbies again and decided to have a kissing booth. Hehehe. To stinkin cute! He found that idea from the same place but the link is <a href="http://www.livinglocurto.com/2012/12/elf-kissing-booth/" target="_blank">here</a>.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287923347/" title="23 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="23" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8206/8287923347_7a231e034e.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 24 - Doodle was tired... he had gotten this for Laci and put it away for a day he didn't have much energy. Laci was so excited she wanted to make them for breakfast. Mommy vetoed that. Will make them on a day with less going on.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287923031/" title="24 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="24" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8067/8287923031_5f018c4482.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 25 - Doodle found the perfect house! He is using a Build-a-Bear box and asked Laci to color it. She had fun coloring with Gramma.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287922767/" title="25 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="25" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8355/8287922767_0839a50a47.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 26 - Doodle heard Laci reading "Lucy's Lemonade Stand" with mommy while drying her hair and decided that it would be perfect to make a lemonade stand. I am just saying... Doodle rocks at using my Silhouette Cameo!</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287922625/" title="26 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="26" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8063/8287922625_5e29d77233.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 27 - Doodle got tired again and decided to use an easy idea from his stash. He grabbed the blocks and made a castle!</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8287922395/" title="27 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="27" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8354/8287922395_d08427eec8.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Doodle already has plans for 4 of the 5 days left.... just has to come up with one more idea!<br />
<br />
Hope you are enjoying reading Doodle's antics. This has been a long year of having him around! Next year he may ask Laci if she would rather him hide from her or do the fun random things. Can't say which one I personally would prefer. Can't believe that it is almost Christmas. I still have SOOOO much to do!<br />

His name is Doodle, and he likes to do crazy things. Every year Doodle comes the day after Thanksgiving. Beacause Thanksgiving was so early this year, Doodle has already had 13 days of fun... <br />
<br />
He is starting to run out of awesome ideas. Let me know if you have any ideas I can pass along to the little fella... <br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 1 - Doodle made his grand entrance by making a Countdown Until Christmas for Laci</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371877/" title="IMG_4490 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4490" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8199/8247371877_f76f004178.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 2 - Doodle was held hostage by the army men.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8248439476/" title="IMG_4511 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4511" height="333" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8345/8248439476_d6f597e2f4.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 3 - Doodle got thirsty and wanted syrup...</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371731/" title="IMG_4522 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4522" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8060/8247371731_03df0b0d33.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 4 - Doodle held a concert for Laci's lego men.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371625/" title="IMG_4532 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4532" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8207/8247371625_7a3ecffacb.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 5 - Doodle played Mexican Train with the barbies.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371557/" title="IMG_4542 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4542" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8198/8247371557_484857d0c4.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 6 - Doodle went hang-gliding... </u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371477/" title="IMG_4554 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4554" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8061/8247371477_75469b6876.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 7 - Doodle got a little tired and wanted to read in bed.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8248439062/" title="IMG_4557 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4557" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8348/8248439062_e50ea0a977.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 8 - Doodle went fishing...</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371167/" title="IMG_4569 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4569" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8206/8247371167_e02292d524.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 9 - Doodle wrote on the mirror...</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247371045/" title="IMG_4578 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4578" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8198/8247371045_c1a782e011.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 10 - Taking a peppermint bath to smell good for Santa's visit!</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8248438642/" title="IMG_4604 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4604" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8346/8248438642_4367ece897.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 11 - Laci told Santa that when Doodle ziplined it was her favorite last year... so he ziplined that night...</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247370697/" title="IMG_4607 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4607" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8203/8247370697_2986b7f205.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>D</u></strong><strong><u>ay 12 - Doodle got hungry and made star sandwiches. </u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247370603/" title="IMG_4621 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4621" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8484/8247370603_035efc0ec4.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<strong><u>Day 13 - Doodle is looking for a house... this one is a little bit small... he may have to find a bigger house that isn't so cramped.</u></strong><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8248438206/" title="IMG_4623 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4623" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8483/8248438206_9759a5ff92.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
When Santa came for pictures on Sunday he talked to Doodle to find out if Laci had been good or not. <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8241452276/" title="DSC_0739 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0739" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8204/8241452276_68e0f6350a.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Then because he can give back Doodle's magic he let Laci hold Doodle and give him a hug. She loved that!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8240384043/" title="DSC_0753 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0753" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8199/8240384043_61d133e07e.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
We had a great visit with Santa as always... we love him!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8241451960/" title="DSC_0665 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0665" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8348/8241451960_077af5b921.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
What an awesome picture!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8247411283/" title="DSC_0699 - 2 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0699 - 2" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8199/8247411283_1111823b2f.jpg" width="343" /></a><br />
<br />
Doodle still has to come up with about 19 more days of things to do... so if anyone has any ideas... help an Elf out... <br />

I have been so busy the past couple of months and honestly I don't see a major curb in the momentum coming soon, although usually the holidays bring some sort of releif for me. So what have I been up to? <br />
<br />
Well... lets do this in pictures... <br />
<br />
Making signs and working on stuff for my mom's school carnival:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093836187/" title="IMG_4060 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4060" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8466/8093836187_e38386c408.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Making a shirt for my mom's teacher friend who's granddaughter obviously goes to Spring Creek: <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093841650/" title="IMG_4065 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4065" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8049/8093841650_ff8abe6b3f.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Making gifts for my hair dresser who had a baby not long ago: <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093835015/" title="IMG_4095 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4095" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8328/8093835015_0b81a7028b.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Had to add in the bling decorations on the top right of the bag because some glue transfered to the bag and was all over the place. Eek... but it turned out pretty cute! <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093834783/" title="IMG_4097 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4097" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8468/8093834783_70eb170b52.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Went to the fair with my family and took Laci - made her the perfect shirt to wear that day: <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093835533/" title="IMG_4069 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4069" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8055/8093835533_f89b3769e3.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
Ate lots of fried food - but this was the best - fried mac and cheese slider - uhm melt in your mouth awesomesauce!<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093835363/" title="IMG_4070 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4070" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8046/8093835363_c0077acc88.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Saw this at the fair and thought of my bloggy buddy Jen at <a href="http://lifecraftsandwhatever.blogspot.com/">Life Crafts and Whatever</a> because they are so big into UFC:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093835793/" title="IMG_4068 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4068" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8184/8093835793_a88cee422e.jpg" width="500" /></a> <br />
<br />
Laci rode some rides - ok LOTS of them:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8070641160/" title="Texas State Fair - 2012 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Texas State Fair - 2012" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8449/8070641160_470b83c3ac.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8070652675/" title="Texas State Fair - 2012 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Texas State Fair - 2012" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8452/8070652675_578399c464.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Self portrait with my sister and I (isn't she pretty!): <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8070635780/" title="Texas State Fair - 2012 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Texas State Fair - 2012" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8320/8070635780_d9f2571d43.jpg" width="500" /></a> <br />
<br />
Got Laci's face painted (picture of the day!):<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093839360/" title="IMG_4126 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4126" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8054/8093839360_3bfeefa551.jpg" width="478" /></a><br />
<br />
Lets see... this past weekend Laci went to a dance clinic and got a shirt that they were supposed to bling there. Lets just say, I did a re-do, as it wasn't looking so hot when it came home (note to self, should have given more instruction to my mom than just here is a small bag of rinestones and the setter - things like, oh, can't adhere them to silk screen or vinyl and that the tool can burn silk screen and vinyl). Eh, in the end I was able to pick the rhinestones off and you can't even tell that the shirt looked kinda trifling. <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093834459/" title="IMG_4119 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4119" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8192/8093834459_fafe0c0d35.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Went to a wedding and made one of the presents for them since they didn't register anywhere (left is the inspiration and to the right is the tile I made for them):<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093834551/" title="tile by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="tile" height="250" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8324/8093834551_53eaef8f39.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Self portriat of Jake and I at the wedding: <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093834617/" title="IMG_4101 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4101" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8047/8093834617_b0cec5c795.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Yesterday working out at the gym and getting photo bombed by Megan from <a href="http://missmadisonscharmedlife.blogspot.com/">Miss Madison's Charmed Life</a>... I am just saying... I could have looked way worse! So thanks for the decent workout pic gal! <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093861878/" title="photo bombed by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="photo bombed" height="403" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8049/8093861878_78b695d735.jpg" width="403" /></a><br />
<br />
Finished workout pic numbers... see the machines are WAY off your body's real numbers... <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093839636/" title="IMG_4123 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4123" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8467/8093839636_6001acda61.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
Heck, by the time I ran to get my car from getting an oil change, speed shopped - literally - at the grocery store and got home, in an hour and 7 minutes I burned 600 calories... woot woot! <br />
<br />
Then as I was making my eggs and getting the table ready this morning the salt did this... <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093833923/" title="IMG_4124 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_4124" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8468/8093833923_afa645de61.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
I was thankful that it was on the table and not the floor, but here is to hoping the rest of my day doesn't follow in this path. <br />
<br />
Also as a side note Jake and I have been going to church every Sunday and have found an awesome ABF group that we are joining. We went to Discovery Desserts at the pastors home on Sunday night and had a great time. Not to mention that we ended up seeing Rachel and Preston at Discovery Desserts. Laci was a flower girl for them back in April. It was pretty awesome that they were there! Let's just say Laci would love to marry Preston... sorry toots Preston's taken and you are way too young! <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093950685/" title="wedding 1 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="wedding 1" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8468/8093950685_87e8d15898.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/8093956192/" title="wedding 2 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="wedding 2" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8334/8093956192_12bdd85bc2.jpg" width="332" /></a><br />
<br />
Cheers to a busy life, but I certianly could use a break soon! <br />
Hugs & TTFN~<br />

So I notice that a couple things are pinned and viewed more than others. I just found out though that this one post as seen <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2010/05/baby-basket-for-landry.html" target="_blank">here</a> and the total credit for the tutorials goes to Ashley from Cute as a Fox. The links are all on my original post. Anyways.... this basket has been pinned over 4,688 times for one pin alone. Another showed that it had been pinned 541 times making this being pinned over 5,000 times. Uhm. I am stoked! </div>

"Sky Who?" Most of you are probably asking... <br />
<br />
Well for my hubbys birthday his mom got him this awesome game called Skylanders. It is LOTS of fun! My favorite character is Cynder. I already have her to level 5 almost 6 and enjoy flying around!<br />
<br />
<strong></strong>So as we started getting the characters we couldn't REALLY find a good way to check off which ones we had. I scored the internets and had no luck. So I decided to create my own. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfScDo9kNmnL329iox89LtWiXl0aF2Pgnfv1_YOANbH3Wd8JOWpGdW8mHpc7etuO62ONTDoatJyh-CdAiyFczOF9gV3jvEbJEtxYeKgeEYFSxHHc0cd6Uzb-g9z6w7AwpaWCClYFKv1NAu/s1600/preview.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" hea="true" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfScDo9kNmnL329iox89LtWiXl0aF2Pgnfv1_YOANbH3Wd8JOWpGdW8mHpc7etuO62ONTDoatJyh-CdAiyFczOF9gV3jvEbJEtxYeKgeEYFSxHHc0cd6Uzb-g9z6w7AwpaWCClYFKv1NAu/s640/preview.png" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To get this checklist you will need to go <a href="http://sdrv.ms/TJizoR" target="_blank">here</a> and print/download it. I also am a geek and made a cover for our binder that can be found <a href="http://sdrv.ms/S3KoUM" target="_blank">here</a>. Our binder has all of the stat cards for the players, yes we bought the baseball sleeve sheets to keep them in. I am even working on printable labels for the tabs since I don't like my handwriting. If anyone wants a copy of those feel free to email me at itssewstinkincute (at) hotmail (dot) com. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So how geeky am I? Pretty much feeling like the queen. But I like to be organized. I really can't help it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On the Skylanders note I saw the COOLEST cookies and cake this morning on the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Confection-Perfection-by-Melissa/313874931981926" target="_blank">Confection Perfection by Melissa facebook page</a> this morning. I classify major things as ones that you have to call the ambulance for... She has this horrible habit of hurting herself before a big event. Let's re-cap, shall we?<br />
<br />
Before her nap before her 2nd Birthday Party - Put her hand on a light bulb, yeah it was hot.... she burt the tar out her hand, and it was all wrapped up and bandaged for her party. <br />
<br />
Bath before her nap for her 3rd Birthday Party - She slipped in the bathtub and got a fat lip... Luckily mom had bright red lipstick and no one could see.<br />
<br />
Got super lucky and nothing happened for her 4th Birthday Party - Don't ask me, I seriously threatened to bubble wrap her for a couple days before.<br />
<br />
Day before her 5th Birthday Party - Get a call from her school saying that her friend was hugging her from behind and that she fell forwards into a table when pulling away. Yup - nice knot on her head for that party. <br />
<br />
So thus far it has been centered around birthdays. Nothing major, but not just birthdays anymore...<br />
<br />
Day before school starts (yesterday) - We hear grunting up the stairs. I look over and see Laci's feet hanging off the first landing. Jake and I both rush up the first 1/2 of the stairs and Laci is still just kind of grunting (don't know how to describe it better than that). Her eyes are just staring at us and then kind of looking off. She couldn't speak or talk for what felt like 10 minutes, but was probably more like 1. Then she started saying one word leg then saying back. At that point I yelled for the family to call the 911 thinking that she might have hurt her back.<br />
<br />
Over then next couple minutes we were talking to her and she started to slowly start talking a little more and was still saying that her back hurt. She finally started to follow our direction and wiggle her toes and her fingers. She also squeezed our hands. At that point I was relieved beyond belief, no major damage was done, but she was still saying her back hurt. We came to the conclusion right before the paramedics got there that she had knocked the wind out of herself when she fell. <br />
<br />
When the paramedics got there, they checked her out and she started to sit up on her own. He said because she was saying that her back hurt on the side and not in the middle that there was no major damage (you know like with her spine). They suggested to take her and have her checked out anyways. At this point it was 4:30pm. Jake and I decided that because she was going to be up for a couple more hours that we would monitor her and then take her in if we needed to or if we saw a change in her behavior etc. we could call them back out. <br />
<br />
One of the Paramedics gave Laci and my nephew a sticker. They were so nice and very polite! When they left I sat there just holding Laci for a VERY long time. She asked to take off her yellow power rangers outfit and then I saw the spot she hit, it was under her right sholder blade and was about a 2.5 inches wide red spot. That was where she said she was hurting. <br />
<br />
I have had a couple of moments (all of the ones above) where I was like REALLY?!? But this was one that was terrifying. As Jake said after she went to bed, "I will NEVER for the rest of my life forget the look she had on her face at the beginning!" I never want to go through this feeling again. It was horrible. <br />
<br />
This morning she was saying her back still hurt and we told her if she is still hurting that bad tomorrow afternoon we will schedule a dr's appt. But I am sure there is a nice bruse there from the fall. So off my little Kindergartener went on her first day of school.... She was a little upset that we were leaving, but I heard she did fine after we left. <br />

<br />
So by all means, feel free to leave a comment and tell me your horror stories as a parent. Also please tell me that I am not the only one that wants to bubble wrap their child. <br />

No? Well its a good thing I know where it is... <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2011/07/diaper-wipe-holder-tutorial.html" target="_blank">here</a> no joke, I use my own tutorial. I just already have the pattern all ready to go. :)<br />
<br />
Well my sisters friend saw <a href="http://itssewstinkincute.blogspot.com/2011/03/baby-gifts-part-3.html" target="_blank">hers</a> and asked if I would make her one if she bought the fabric. I am a world class sucker for saying yes to this kind of thing. My New Years Resolution of learning to say NO hasn't worked very well. <br />
<br />
Whatevs. So she brought the fabric over and we proceeded to make one for her. Of course I had to add a wipe case that is all decorated cute to match the fabric. <br />
<br />
I would have added a name in heat press vinyl, but the fabric was so busy it wouldn't have looked very good.... it was kind of nice to pull out the sewing machine. I haven't used it in over 6 months. Got burn out from doing a lot of stuff at once. I love using it though and this was a nice simple project to get me back on my way to hopefully using it more. <br />
<br />
Here it is closed you can see it has hearts and cherries on the fabric:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7629745616/" title="IMG_3642[1] by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_3642[1]" height="375" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7256/7629745616_c99ccb998d.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Here is it open. Isn't the cherry fabric on the inside darling?<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7629748608/" title="IMG_3640[1] by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_3640[1]" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8294/7629748608_6fa4f32446.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Here it is with the decorated wipe case peeking out.<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7629744228/" title="IMG_3643[1] by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_3643[1]" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8014/7629744228_265faff067.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />

<br />
Oh... my sister also brought over a onesie that the mom had gotten as a gift and she said that she was sure I could quickly put a V on it so that it would be cuter. Dude... really sure. Again... whatevs. Can someone teach me to say no? I almost had heart failure over this stupid onesie. The vinyl didn't quite adhere the first time and I thought I was going to ruin the onesie for sure. Got lucky though and fixed it without even having to re-cut anything. I got <u><em><strong>REALLY</strong></em></u> lucky.<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7629751400/" title="IMG_3639[1] by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="IMG_3639[1]" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8151/7629751400_97636140a5.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />

Thoughts on the gifts/things I did to gifts that she had gotten?<br />

Well... I already made Jake a shirt he was wanting to support Team USA Basketball, but I wanted my own shirt.<br />
<br />
So I designed the shirt on Thursday night and woke up early on Friday and made it before I left for work. Took about an hour that morning, but totally worth it!<br />
<br />
I used the designs I found on the <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/" target="_blank">Silhouette Online Store</a> for the entire shirt and then Heat Transfer Vinyl from <a href="http://www.specialty-graphics.com/" target="_blank">Specialty-Graphics</a> (LOVE THEIR HEAT TRANSFER VINYL).<br />
<br />
Here is the front:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7661391758/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7249/7661391758_9009c73b9d.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
I blinged it out a little bit too... Thought it gave it that something extra.<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7661392292/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8146/7661392292_9d10469117.jpg" width="500" /></a>
<br />
The USA design can be purchased <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/v2/viewShape.aspx?id=11262" target="_blank">here</a> and the extra stars can be purchased <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/v2/viewShape.aspx?id=18755" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
Here is the back:<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7661392758/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8005/7661392758_0b765b1b38.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />

<br />
The Olympics design can be purchased <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/v2/viewShape.aspx?id=30251" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
I had quite a few people comment on my shirt, even my bosses boss who has said less than 100 words to me the entire time I have been there (4.5 years) asked me where I found my shirt and had a mini conversation about it. It was fun to tell him I made it.<br />
<br />
Anyways, have I told you before how much I love my heat press? Well I LOVE my heat press, best purchase ever, aside from my Cameo that is. :)<br />
<br />
One happy crafter is saying TTFN~<br />

Not only did we have room, we had a couple inches to spare and it looks amazing and SOOO much bigger. We find ourselves just going and watching TV on our bed now to relax. It is so incredibly amazing. <br />
<br />
There are still a couple other things we want to do, paint, get another coax installed on the right wall, and find a little more artwork to complete the room. I must say, this was one room in the house I really didn't like, and now I really LOVE it! Plus we were able to hang the artwork we got at the fair back in October. It looks fantastic!<br />
<br />
Here is a shot into the room from the door (don't mind the hampers, we are probably going to end up getting different ones or moving them in the closet, but they work there for now):<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7562275786/" title="DSC_0510 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0510" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8005/7562275786_9e1e082acf.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Here is a straight shot on from the bed:<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7562274850/" title="DSC_0511 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0511" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8011/7562274850_c44cfd90d3.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Close up of the artwork (it really is more stunning in person):<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7562274432/" title="DSC_0512 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0512" height="332" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7136/7562274432_92c17e920c.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
A shot from the other side of the room:<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7562273624/" title="DSC_0513 by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="DSC_0513" height="332" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8019/7562273624_59b544a44f.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Here are the remainder going around the room, things you will notice - our carpet blows, they didn't stretch it well when they installed it and we definatly want to get hardwood in here, the blue painters tape holding down the cord until the person comes out to drop the other coax outlet thingy, my vanity thing that I have no clue what to do with and think it looks odd in the room, and you have probably already noticed my grandmothers hope chest that she gave to me. It is solid cedar and smells so good when opened.<br />

I know the style isn't for everyone, but we really love it. Our dog loves that we have room infront of the bed to play keep away and fetch with her. <br />
<br />
Hope you are having a great day!<br />

<br />
I mean, I love PINK and it looked simple enough to do. If you have enough patience. End result, they weren't as bright at I wanted the have the speckles, but maybe I just needed to put more than I did on. Also the hubby and I decided hearts would be cute. Problem during the process? My shirt got flipped and I had to speckle the whole thing. Would I do it again? eh, maybe but not in my kitchen. At least my fingers barely turned pink. Gloves.. who needs em. <br />
<br />
Here are both my shirt and Laci's shirt:<br />

My shirt<br />

<br />
Laci's shirt... never mind the fact she already got permanent markes on it with pitted red cherry juice. <br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7549708336/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8284/7549708336_6f7c4c82e0.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
I think I would prefer to try the dark shirt with bleach technique before tackling this one again. <br />
<br />
Eh. Cheep afternoon activity was semi successful and not a total fail. I will take that as a good sign.<br />

They were marked at 60% off making them only 80 cents each.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7542618082/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="375" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8019/7542618082_5582944201.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
I knew I could cut some cute vinyl decorations to go on them, even if they were cheep, they turned out cute. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7542621860/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="375" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7126/7542621860_b528a23585.jpg" width="500" /></a><br />
<br />
Laci wanted the yellow and purple... I chose pink. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7542623790/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7264/7542623790_cfeeb98602.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7542625980/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7250/7542625980_393f083eb2.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/itssewstinkincute/7542629004/" title="Untitled by It's Sew Stinkin' Cute, on Flickr"><img alt="Untitled" height="500" src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8287/7542629004_9130389117.jpg" width="375" /></a><br />
<br />
You can see on the side of the yellow picture my pink one has hearts that wrap around to the back. These turned out pretty cute and the $2.40 I spent kept my mind occupied on a day I direly needed it. I may have to go back to get some to use for small gifts for kids or something because they were fun to do and really easy. <br />
<br />
Thoughts?<br />
