It's Stinkin' Cute Craft Thursday #22 & Giveaway

***New Disclaimer - Please don't link the same project twice. This linky party is to share new projects not re-use old ones to get an entry for the giveaway. Anyone found to be using the same project from one week to the next will have their entry removed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation to keep the giveaway fair to everyone.***

#1 Ok, so one piece of news that I wanted to share, check (if you missed it, I shared that my sister was pregnant). #2 I half shared (see yesterdays post... I am super psyched). #3 I tried the rose thing really quick this morning and will have to change the svg because I have too many spirals and the rose although pretty had too many spirals in the middle. Work in progress and will share when perfected.

This weeks winner was #7 Staci from Just Sew Sassy who entered the adorable zipper pouch which I am going to feature too because it fits with my theme of ZEBRA for this week! Staci make sure to send me an e-mail at itssewstinkincute @ hotmail.com with your address and then leave a comment on this post saying you sent me an e-mail in case it goes to the junk filter.

If you didn't win... make an entry this week for the chance to win a GREAT goodie pack. Just ask one of my winners so far... I am sure they will tell you that entering and getting the stash o' goodies is well worth it!

I love Zebra and Hot Pink... really it is no secret... maybe when I break down and have someone re-design my blog I will go with a chipper and pretty Zebra and Hot Pink. Sounds like a plan.... If you missed how much I like hot pink and zebra you really should go see my craft room make over. It doesn't show my love for zebra... still working on that, but it shows my love for hot pink...

First lets go with Staci from Just Sew Sassy... she did a tutorial on how to make a zipper pouch. Not I have to admit, it was the fabric she chose on this one that caught my eye, but really I just LOVE zebra print.

My second feature is what got me on the I am doing the zebra theme this week kick... I saw this zebra and hot pink outfit and want one for my little one. It is just so super adorable and I was speechless when I saw it. So to Tere at Pony Tails and Fish Scales how long did it take you to make this wonderful little outfit, and can you do a tutorial on the skirt? I want to make one for myself Laci.

Thank you to all this weeks participants, congrats to Staci for winning the giveaway and being featured and Tere for being featured, go grab that featured button and have a FABULOUS Thursday folks!

  2. Thanks for including my creation! Here is a simple skirt tutorial that I tweaked a bit..

I didn't gather the 2 fabrics. I just sewed on the bottom fabric to the top....same width....before I sewed the sides together. Also, I sewed my elastic tunnel a little lower so it would bunch a little at the top.

    Have a great weekend!

  3. Oh, as for how long it took me.....hard to determine with my many distractions through out the day. Not long! I'd guesstimate maybe an hour!
