I started this blog after Laci's 2nd Birthday last year. I always said I was going to share it and never got around to it, but I figured in the midst of unfinished projects now would be a good time to share it. I am going to break this down into two posts. Tomorrow will be food, some wall decorations, and activities. Today is just a quick over view and a clear shot of the outfit I made for her.
Here you will see the Man in the Yellow Hat (Uncle Tim) and Laci... hasn't she gotten so big since then?
Here is the Mantle with all sorts of Curious George books as decorations and one of our blown up George prints.
We had to have a George Bounce House...
Here you can see Laci with the big present Jake and I bought for her... but you can also see the cute outfit I made for her to wear. Isn't she just such a little cutie! I loved the cupcake shirt and the cute jeans that matched... You can't tell in this picture, but the back pockets of the jeans also had the fabric on them. They were really cute. I need to make more jeans for her like that now, since she is bigger it will be easier. Tiny clothes are hard to sew.
Check back tomorrow for a quick re-cap of the other half. Also, if you haven't seen some of her 3rd birthday party posts... take a look at them starting here as a short HI then here and here for the full recaps... her 2nd birthday party was nothing compared to the chaos we pulled of then. Also... there are tons of party prep posts if you go back further... if you want to know how to do anything, just e-mail me and ask. I will either point you in the right direction or make a new post just for you. Thanks for stopping by!
TTFN~
We had a curious george party for my son's 2nd bday too. Instead of cake we had banana splits. It was cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm putting together a curious George party for my son in a few weeks & would love to know how you did the large George on the mantle? It's great!
