So we already knew that I was going to be an Aunt... but Friday night we had a party to find out if it was going to be a boy or a girl.
Here are some pictures from the event...
When you walked in the front door you had to pick if you were on Team Holden or Team Julianne (basically did you think it was going to be a boy or a girl).
Then you had to fill out the baby guess card I made and showed you last week.
When you looked up, you also saw these cute decorations.
All through out the house there were cute decorations like this...
This cute little puppy...
If you know me at all... you know that I love to take pictures of food... maybe becuase i want to eat it all and know I can't.
Here is the lemonade.
Gender Cake...
Sammiches... (hehehe I get this version of sandwiches from some fun family members)
Rice Krispie Treats (You can't tell in the pictures, but they are trains and pink butterflies.
Cream Puffs with baby color drizzle...
There was other food, but nothing major to note... however incase you are wondering about the little food label holders... They are balls of white playdough with a paper clip stuck in them. Kind of cute and great for holding the label since I couldn't find my nice label holders.
Ok, so on to some fun pictures...
Here is the picture of Team Holden (Laci wasn't feeling good, so getting her to smile wasn't really happening)...
Here is the picture of Team Julianne
Here is the picture of right after my sister cut the cake and found out what it was...
If you can't see the icing... IT'S A BOY!
So it was time for Jennifer and Tim to open the blue package... These are the shirts that I made for them. I made them using my cricut, freezer paper and some fabric paint. Pretty cute!
Right after they opened it...
As you can tell most of the people were on the wrong team. Me included....
Aren't they cute!!
Here is the family after we found out... (ok so partially I was on team Julianne because the name was going to be after me and someone else and also so that I could hand down Laci's adorable clothes, oh, well.. I am seriously just as happy... never been around a boy baby)
Here is me and my sister. Isn't she a pretty pregnant lady? In 21 weeks I will be an Aunt to little Mr. Holden David Ring.
I am so excited for them. Anyways, thanks for reading and hope you may get some cute ideas for shirts or food.
TTFN~
That is so much fun. So your sister didn't know what she was having before she cut the cake? That is amazing. Congrats on becoming an Aunt!

Oh, and I totally love that beagle as I have one myself. :)
Wow! I can see that a lot of love went into this party! A fun way to get the whole family involved. Nice that they knew the names so that you could work with those. Lots of great details!
