Its Stinkin Cute Craft Thursday #26 & Giveaway

I still haven't heard from like my past 4 winners. If you want your goodie pack... let me know so I can send it... if not that just means one more week that we can have giveaways.

If you didn't see my post yesterday about pinking my cube, take a look and let me know what you think. I would love to hear some feedback!

This past week we only had 19 entries, I am sure that is because I posted so late last Thursday (sorry again). The winner is #10... Lets see who it is... Yeah for Maggy with Red Ted Art who showed us how to do easy less messy apple prints to go with the book Our Apple Tree by Gorel Kristina Naslund, Kristina Digman. Maggy please make sure that you e-mail me at itssewstinkincute @ hotmail.com and also leave a comment at the bottom here saying you have sent an e-mail incase it goes to the junk filter.

As always, if you didn't win... make an entry this week for the chance to win a GREAT goodie pack. Just ask one of my winners so far... I am sure they will tell you that entering and getting the stash o' goodies is well worth it!

This weeks feature (yes sadly still only time for one) has my mouth just watering because it looks delicious!!! Jocelyn from Inside BruCrew Life made some delicious looking Chocolate Butterscotch Cupcakes! Um, I'll take 5 1. I love eating chocolate muffins for breakfast, I mean really who said chocolate wasn't a major food group or healthy for you? I think they just are saying this so that they can hog it for themselves. I am on to you!

Don't these look like they came from a world class bakery? I can see why your kids know that you are good at this kind of thing. They look amazing!

Thank you to all this weeks participants, congrats to Maggy for winning the giveaway and congrats to Jocelyn for being featured, go grab that featured button and have a FABULOUS Thursday folks!

Pink Day at Work

Yesterday at work was pink day. Where someone came out to my work from Susan G. Komen and the company donated $20,000 to the foundation. They decided to have a decorate your cubes in pink contest. Although it wasn't about winning for me (even though I did), it was just about bringing awareness to the research and breast cancer in general.

Without further ado, my winning cube:
To the left of the box is where the computer is that I work from 99% of the time. You can see my keyboard and mouse peaking out.
Right Side and Floor
This is one of my shelves and the box is covering my honker printer. It slides off for easy access.

Left side of my desk and spare computer for monthly reports.

Gift basket for winning. Of course everything is pink.

Needless to say I am enjoying the sea of pink and will keep it up until next Tuesday. I love it!

Vacation is over...

I had a great and very relaxing time in Rochester, but as all vacations do, mine has come to an end. While I sit in the airport waiting to board I am very thankful of my family and friends for such a wonderful time. Tahoes garbage plates are my favorite and I have had them twice since being here. I don't want to step on the scale, but I enjoyed every bite!

I took some wonderful photos of the family while here and even had a good one of me taken, although it is on the external harddrive and I will have to put it on later. Anyways, here are some pictures I took of Jake and Laci the other day... I can't wait till tomorrow to PINK my cube and share it with you.

BTW, it is cold up here and I look forward to being warmer when I get home. To be this cold it should have at least snowed once. ;o)

Getting Ready - Pink Your Cube Day at Work

Ok, so I am in the Atlanta Airport right now waiting another 3 hours or so for my connecting flight... boo! But while waiting I thought one I would log on and tell you how much I appreciate each and everyone of you that has said you hope I feel better. Just to update you, I am 93%. Still a little bit to go, but on the upside I just took my last dose of the z-pack this morning and should be to 100% in a day or so. But compared to the way I felt on Monday will take anything.

Ok, so last night I decided to stay at work and start working on the Pink Your Cube day for work since I couldn't do it on Monday (since I won't be there), and got almost all the desk covered with the exception of a couple spots. Mom is getting me more pink butcher paper. On that note, anyone have any ideas on how to cover a chair? I thought about a large pink pillow case for the back, but hadn't come up with anything solid.

Ok, so I have attached the pictures that I took last night. I still have so much more to do, and you can tell where I haven't put pink paper yet, but what do you think? I love it so far and can't wait to go in on Tuesday and finsh it. I can't wait to share the pictures of it done. I think you will all love it!

Can't wait to hear what you all think so far! Have a great Friday!

Oh, if you are wanting to donate to the Breast Cancer I have a great person for you to donate to. Her name is Cedar and she is still trying to get the last $400 of her $2300 to do the 3-day. If you go over to Ashley's site Cute as a Fox, you can find the way to donate there.

Getting Better

Being sick is one of the worst things in my book. I mean really, really sick. Not just a cough or a headache. In the past week I have gotten some lovely virus that caused sores to go down my throat and into my mouth. The dentist said they weren't something he could take care of, so I went back to my doctor. Well I had gone to my dr.s office, but he wasn't there last thursday so I saw an associate of his. Needless to say I will never go back to that dr because after seeing him and only getting a low grade antibotic I got worse. As of Monday I have been on massive steriods and have had major sleep loss as one of the side effects of the drug. Eh, at least I feel better I guess.

Anyways, I sent off the hubby and munchkin this morning to Rochester and I will be meeting up with them on Friday. At least I should be good and feeling much better by the time I get there. Any who. I did do some cute craft stuff this past weekend for a friend, but didn't get the chance to pull the pictures off the camera yet. Plus, I also am gearing up for "pink you cube" day at work. I have some pink goodness planned and I am so excited about it!

I can't wait to show you pictures of it when I am done. Ok, well I have tons to do for my moms carnival, work and plotting the pink your cube day.

Halloween Jack-O-Lantern

Isn't this thing cute?

I bought it at Michaels. I wish I could say that I made it, but no I bought it... plus if I had made it I wouldn't have done such a hideous an attractive bow. It would have been more low key and less leaves... I mean it is Halloween and not Thanksgiving.

Eh, it's still pretty cute! What do you think?

Have a great day!

Happy Anniversary

Seven years ago today, I married my best friend. Seven years later, I love him more than words can say. I sat there this morning looking through photos of our album that just made me smile. I remember how I felt, I remember how happy I was (and thankfully still am), I remember how amazing the whole experience was. Seven years goes by so quickly, and I can't tell you how lucky I am to be married to such an amazing man. Seven years ago, numerious people told me I was too young, gave me the odds and statistics, told me that I would change. For most people I would tell you 20 probably is too young for anyone to get married, but I truthfully feel that it is entirely on maturity level. Do I think I have matured since then, sure, we all do over time, but obviously I proved many people wrong.

Through out the years we have had many people tell us, "I wish that I could have a relationship like you two", or "ya'll are perfect for each other". I can't tell you that I do think we have something special and that we truly are meant to be together.

With all this said, here are a couple pictures I took of our wedding album this morning.

Isn't he handsome? This is my husband. I sure did get a cutie. Now you see where my daughter gets it from. It really isn't me.
